Montana offers good looking landscape views all year long, (lucky us!) but autumn is crazy beautiful. Our traffic is never too terrible, but when one of the main roads is busy there's a shortcut I use over a one lane bridge (Maclay Bridge for those of you who may be familiar with Missoula). Last October as I was driving over the bridge this is what I saw. I just had to stop! Probably should get a bumper sticker.....make unscheduled stops for beautiful scenery! This piece was accepted into Randy Higbee's annual 6x6 show in December 2014. I used one of his very tasteful frames - Catalina Gold - with museum glass. (this does not have a mat)
